What the starting price covers

The entry point is a compact LMP plunge pool: a lightweight, modular, prefabricated shell that is built in advance and installed on your site. Larger sizes, special configurations and extras move the figure up. We never quote from a catalogue number alone, because the same pool can cost very different amounts to install on a ground-floor courtyard and on a fourth-floor terrace.

The five things that move the price

1. Where the pool goes

Access matters more than most owners expect. A pool that can be carried through a side gate is a simple job; one that has to be craned onto a roof or lifted through a narrow stairwell needs equipment, permits for the lift and more labour. Rooftops and upper terraces also need a structural check before anything is ordered.

2. Above ground, semi in-ground or in-ground

LMP pools can be installed above ground, semi in-ground or fully in-ground. Above-ground is the quickest because there is no excavation. Sinking the pool means digging, shoring and disposing of spoil, and that work is priced separately from the pool.

3. Cooling and heating

4. A clear viewing panel

Turning one wall into an acrylic or glass window changes the look of a plunge pool completely, and it also changes the engineering. Prefabricated or concrete: the cost question

A prefabricated pool is manufactured off site, so its price is mostly fixed before work starts. A concrete pool is built on site and its final cost depends on ground conditions, formwork, curing and finishing, which can change during the job. How long installation takes

Running costs after handover

A plunge pool holds far less water than a swimming pool, so filtration, chemicals and top-ups are modest. The line that matters in Dubai is electricity for the chiller in summer. Shade, a cover and a correctly sized unit are the cheapest ways to reduce it.
