An indoor water wall is a vertical surface over which a thin sheet of water flows into a hidden basin. It is quieter and cleaner than a waterfall, it adds movement to a wall, and it suits entrances, lobbies and restaurant walls. Materials

Humidity and sound

Moving water adds moisture to the air. In a lobby with good air conditioning this is usually pleasant, but the room must be ventilated and nearby finishes should tolerate it. Sound is controlled by the fall height, the surface and the flow, and a gentle sheet is much quieter than a splash.
