Aquarium maintenance in Dubai is priced per visit, not per month, and it starts from AED 300. What you actually pay depends on the size of the system, its type and how often it needs us. This page explains what a visit includes so you can compare like with like.

What a Standard visit covers

• Cleaning of the aquarium, inside and outside.
• Checking the water parameters.
• Cleaning the filtration system.
• Checking the health of the fish.
• Checking the filtration equipment, the aquarium sealant and waterproofing, the lighting and the water temperature.

It is a working checklist, not a quick wipe of the glass. The sealant and waterproofing check is the part owners notice least and need most, because a slow leak is far cheaper to fix when it is found early.

What Premium adds

Premium includes everything in Standard and adds medication and fish food, replacement of equipment where it is needed and replacement of fish losses. It suits owners who want the tank managed end to end without ordering supplies. The terms are written into the service agreement so there is no ambiguity about what is included.

How often should a tank be serviced?

There is no universal schedule. A heavily stocked tank, a large display, or a saltwater system needs closer attention than a lightly stocked freshwater tank. In public and commercial settings, a regular schedule protects both the animals and the way the tank looks to visitors. We set the interval after we have seen the system and how it is used.

Emergency call-outs

Pump failures, sudden cloudy water, leaks or temperature alarms do not wait for the next scheduled visit. Our team is available 24/7 for emergencies, and call-outs start from AED 400, with the final figure depending on the time and the location of the visit.

Freshwater or saltwater: does maintenance cost differ?

Saltwater systems need more attention to salinity, equipment and water quality, so they tend to need more specialist time.
